Oily eyes with absolutely no lines might find the texture agreeable although I even question that. Yes, it’s highly pigmented and great coverage however, this is a poor design for the under eye area. I was shocked to say the least as Laura Mercier has excelled at creating some excellent concealer. If you have aging eyes, finer lines, or heavy lines it’s going to be pure trouble to apply correctly or even wear for that matter as it ages eyes a fair bit due to the thickness of the formula. The matte finish doesn’t crease once I got it applied but it does look rather cakey under my drier eyes. I tugged quite a bit while applying this! I tried thinning it out with a concealer brush and this helps a little bit but even during the blending process I found myself tugging to get it into place correctly. It does indeed have a fairly great pigmentation however, it’s so dry that it proves impossible for me to apply correctly. It wasn’t a fluke though as I purchased three shades and all three shades had the same dense, dry formula. I have to put a lot of pressure on the tube to squeeze a very small amount out. I felt like the formula might have gone off for some reason as it seemed like a product that maybe I had forgotten to put the cap on, left out for the night, and it hardened. This is a super thick textured concealer that I had a heck of a time squeezing out of the tube! I imagine oily eyes might just find this consistency a hit but under my drier eyes it creates an absolute mess. Unfortunately Laura Mercier High Coverage Concealer For Under Eye is horribly dry. So a new addition that offered even more coverage was terribly appealing. I was excited that Laura decided to launch a new concealer because she already has an extensive collection of excellent concealers that already work well. Apparently it acts to brighten dark circles while depuffing and offering coverage as well as protecting against environmental stressors. And at 85 per cent cheaper, we’ll definitely be stocking up in the future.Laura Mercier High Coverage Concealer For Under Eye is an exciting new concealer that launched recently to the permanent Laura Mercier Collection.Īvailable in twelve shades the new Laura Mercier High Coverage Concealer For Under Eye not only acts as a concealer but has a soothing formula that features honey and vitamin E.

We’ve sworn by Paula’s Choice’s exfoliator for months now – but after switching to Aldi’s for a week, our skin looks just as bright, smooth and clear as it does with the more expensive formula. Aldi’s £30-cheaper formula boasts the same watery and lightweight consistency (though it’s fragrance-free, unlike Paula’s Choice’s vinegar-esque scent) and glides across your face and neck easily with a cotton pad. Completing the trio, there’s also green tea extract and methylpropanediol for a clearer complexion. Both contain the hero ingredient salicylic acid which works to reduce blackheads, blemishes and redness while smoothing the skin. It’s not only the packaging of Aldi’s toner that bears a striking resemblance to Paula’s Choice’s viral liquid exfoliant, we can confirm the formula does too. Dupe for: Paula’s Choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant (£34, .uk).
